I used to think I struggled with being resilient. Now, I think there is a part in each of us that is innately resilient.
We keep moving. Whether we like it or not, the world spins madly on. You get yourself up, sometimes against your own will, and you get busy. The trick is to be active: know your state of mind, and work on it. There is always progress to be made. And stop beating yourself up every time you fall two steps back. Let that propel you forward with even greater momentum. Your strides are not always meant to be graceful, but rather wholehearted and commendable. Just for being strides in the first place. These are the things that make you relatable. There is no shame in struggle. This is a power you can use to empower. Be open and compassionate, and if you care, then care. Everyone gets sick of the person that tries so desperately to be aloof. Feel what you feel, and own it.
