Thank you to thrifting for making vintage luxe possible.
The rocker chic vibes are real. I don’t know what it is lately, but I have been obsessively thrifting, and I think my style is gearing more and more toward vintage luxe (is that a thing??). I always end up at Wasteland at least a few times a month, and if you’re not familiar, it’s a giant thrift shop that specifically resells pieces from designer/higher-end brands. If you’re like me, you love the luxury fashion, but you also love affordable fashion. The best part about Wasteland and Crossroads are their hidden gems that seriously help create the best vintage outfits.
This particular sheer maxi overlay is actually from Crossroads on Melrose – I went in to try and sell some of my old stuff, and of course, after just “browsing,” I end up walking out with enough to replace what I just sold. You know how it goes.
The band tee is probably what makes this vintage outfit vintage. TBH, I’ve been wearing this oversized tee straight from my dad’s closet as pajamas for years, and I recently realized that it might actually be cute enough to see the light of day. After bringing home my newest find from Crossroads, I figured why not dress this whole thing up and make it super rocker chic. In honor of fashion week coming up, here’s my take on a very street style inspired look. Enjoy!
